Cabinet discusses water, health and electricity services in Basra province


The Cabinet held its weekly regular meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi

The Cabinet discussed public services in Basra province, and received a briefing from ministers and technical experts on ongoing work to improve essential services to residents of the province with a focus on water, health and electricity

The Cabinet approved plans to build two football stadiums in Baghdad and Diwaniyah, each with a seating capacity for 30,000 spectators.

The Cabinet approved an air transport agreement between Iraq and the United States of America.

The Cabinet approved contracts with GE to carry out maintenance work on electricity power stations during the summer months of 2019.
