    Cabinet adopts customs duties on imported medication and medical equipment and supplies


    The Cabinet held its regular session in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi.

    The session included a vote on the adoption of customs duties on imported medication, medical equipment and supplies.

    The Cabinet approved the amendment of paragraph (1) of Article 20 of the Rules of Procedure of the Cabinet of Ministers number (2) for 2019.

    The Cabinet voted to authorise the Prime Minister to approach the Council of Representatives to appoint advisers and heads of bodies.

    The Cabinet also approved the decision from the Ministry of Agriculture to inform companies about the need to use fertilizers for shipments of no less than 50,000 tonnes.
