Baghdad – The Cabinet held its weekly regular meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi.
The Cabinet urged all political parties and blocs to pursue appeals and complaints in relation to the results of the parliamentary elections through established and agreed legal channels.
The Cabinet also asked the Higher Independent Electoral Commission to investigate swiftly all elections complaints as mandated by law.
The Cabinet voted to approve a draft law related to Iraq’s Military Industrialisation Corporation.
The Cabinet approved Iraq’s joining the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Agreement.
The Cabinet also approved a draft air transport agreement with Ukraine.
