    Cabinet discusses infrastructure projects, water pollution


    The Cabinet held its regular meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi.

    The Cabinet reviewed several infrastructure and service projects.

    The Cabinet directed the Ministry of Construction and Housing to commission the state-owned Ashur General Construction Company to begin work on the design and the construction of the Third Bridge in Mosul.

    The Cabinet discussed water pollution in the Tigris River, and approved schemes to clean the river and remove contaminants.

    The Cabinet approved two agreements with the Export and Credit Agency of the People’s Republic of China.
