The Cabinet held its regular meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister, Adil Abd Al-Mahdi.
The Cabinet discussed housing provision, and measures to encourage house building, the granting of housing loans and other mechanisms to support Iraqis to have a decent and a safe home.
The Cabinet also voted to accept a series of recommendations from the National Housing Council.
The Cabinet discussed the status of lecturers who work in the public sector across Iraq and who have been hired on an internship basis and voted to offer them paid employment contracts to fill posts that become vacant.
The Cabinet discussed a number of other policies, draft laws, and initiatives.
