    The Cabinet voted on a policy to better integrate citizens with disabilities and special needs.


    The Cabinet held its regular session in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister, Mr. Adil Abd Al-Mahdi.

    The Cabinet announced that the Eid Al-Fitr holidays will start on Tuesday 4 June 2019.

    The Cabinet also approved a policy to better integrate citizens with disabilities and special needs.

    The Cabinet discussed how to protect local products and is considering various options including preventing some imports for specific periods or imposing fees and duties.

    The Cabinet approved the second 2018 Annual Report produced by the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Council.

    The Cabinet approved the draft convention between the Government of Iraq and the Government of the Republic of Pakistan to avoid double taxation and tackle fiscal evasion.
